Michael Bianco Inc. has had a lawsuit filed against it for allegedly trying to avoid paying overtime by giving out checks for extra work through a phony second company.

This scheme allowed them to break up employees' hours and hide the fact that workers were exceeding 40 hours per week.

The federal suit was filed by 500 current and former workers.
