Marriott Employee Bonuses, California

California employees of Marriott Hotels and other Marriott-owned hotels including Courtyard by Marriott, Reniassance Hotels and Resorts, Residence Inn and Ritz Carlton Hotels are alleging that Marriott promotes bonuses related to quality or quantity of work, but if the employee quits before the end of the year, Marriott refuses to pay these annual bonuses.

These bonuses are viewed as additional employee benefits and by not paying these benefits, Marriott is violating California labor law.
