Investors in Nebraska Awarded $30M in Securities Class Action

Omaha, NB: Two hundred investors who filed a securities class action lawsuit against a pair of brokers who worked in Nebraska City, have been awarded a $30 million settlement by a federal judge this week.

The lawsuit was filed in 2007 by former clients of Rebecca Engle and Brian Schuster and alleged that the brokers improperly sold risky investments. The $30 million judgment was against Schuster, a former Nebraska football player, and some of his investment firms. It does not include Engle the Associated Press reports.
