$2.8 Million Class Action Settlement Proposed for Xethanol Corp Shareholders

A preliminary settlement between Xethanol Corp shareholders and Xethanol Corp appears to have been reached. The proposed settlement involves a $2.8 million payout to members of the class action, and would end allegations that the company was not as financially viable as it made out, and had misrepresented the experience of management and standards of ethics.

Xethanol stock fell from over $15 to $4 per share during the period covered by the lawsuit.
