Aunt Jemima Products Recall

. By Jane Mundy

Two Aunt Jemima frozen breakfast foods have been recalled by Pinnacle Foods Group Inc. because the packages forgot to list egg products on the cartons and could harm consumers with egg allergies.

The company states on its website that "People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg may run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product." Pinnacle Foods found out about the error after a consumer sent an email stating that egg was not listed on the carton.

12.5-ounce cartons of Frozen Aunt Jemima Cinnamon French Toast and 20-ounce cartons of Aunt Jemima "Homestyle" Low-Fat Waffles have been recalled.
