Los Angeles, CAActor Charlie Sheen recently filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros. and the creator of the show Two and a Half Men, claiming his firing was a violation of the California labor code, the Wall Street Journal reports.
According to the news provider, Sheen was fired from the television sitcom after a number of public incidents and cases of drug abuse. Sheen filed his lawsuit in Los Angeles Supreme Court, claiming that the show's cast and crew should be paid for episodes that were recently canceled.
However, an attorney for co-creator Chuck Lorre said that the accusations made by Sheen are completely inaccurate.
"The allegations in the complaint against Mr. Lorre are as recklessly false and unwarranted as Mr. Sheen's rantings in the media," said the attorney. "These accusations are simply imaginary. This lawsuit is about a fantasy 'lottery' pay-day for Charlie Sheen. Chuck Lorre's concern has been and continues to be about Mr. Sheen's health."
