Realtors, Property ID Company Propose $39 Million in Settlement for California Class Action

This is a settlement for the Antitrust lawsuit.

A proposed settlement is in the works which would see Coldwell Banker, Prudential California Realty, REMAX, Century 21 and ERA Real Estate paying $39.3 million to California home owners.

The settlement results from a lawsuit alleging that Property I.D. Corp, the company that produced the hazard disclosure reports for homeowners who were selling, paid kickbacks to the real estate brokers in exchange for business referrals.
