San Joaquin County, CA $500,000 settlement reached in medical malpractice lawsuit.

This is a settlement for the Medical Malpractice lawsuit.

Stockton, CA: (May-28-08) Lorie Prigmore brought a medical malpractice lawsuit against San Joaquin County, after the death of John Prigmore Sr. at the San Joaquin General Hospital. The suit dealt with negligence on the part of the hospital, that led to the wrongful death of Prigmore Sr. Sources familiar with the case and the negotiations stated that the two sides have reached a settlement agreement, in which the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors agreed to pay $500,000 compensation, resolving the allegations in the 2006 lawsuit. County officials stated that the money will come from the county's self-insurance trust fund.

Friend went blind cause doctors gave him to much Morphin and benedril and went blind after he was shot and became a patient
