San Antonio, TX: (Mar-04-08) The "Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests", or SNAP, a group dedicated to helping people abused by priests, brought a lawsuit against a religious group called The Oblates, alleging that Father Antonio Gonzalez molested a teenage girl.

Court records show that the former Houston priest was accused of molesting a teenage girl and getting her pregnant before he was transferred to Canada. The plaintiffs stated that Father Gonzalez also worked at churches in Austin, Eagle Pass and Laredo. Sources stated that the parties had reached a settlement in the lawsuit, in which the Oblates agreed to a $1.3 million payout to resolve allegations.
