Ainsworth Antitrust

This is a settlement for the Antitrust lawsuit.

Vancouver, BC: (Oct-19-07) A class action lawsuit was filed against Ainsworth, alleging that the company violated US antitrust and other laws. In a settlement reached, company officials stated that Ainsworth has agreed to pay $8.6 million to be distributed across the settlement class. Currently, the settlement is subject to court approval. Ainsworth however, denied the allegations, claiming that it has not violated US antitrust or any other laws.
