Ste. Genevieve, MO: (Feb-19-07) Dennis Heberlie, 47, of Ste. Genevieve County, died after officer Michael Coon fired a single shot at him back in November 2005. Heberlie, a paranoid schizophrenic, caused a disturbance at the Conoco gas station and began to run. After a short chase, officer Coon tracked him down and shot him after a brief struggle. Officer Coon will pay the family $600,000, though the family said they were not looking for a settlement.
