Marysville School District

In 2005, 17-year-old Keito Swan was struck by a school bus while crossing 108th Street Northeast to Marysville-Pilchuck High School. Keito was dragged 100 feet and suffered a broken leg, fractured pelvis, and serious head injuries. His family filed a personal injury lawsuit against the school district claiming the stretch of road was not adequately lit and lacked school zone warnings.
