New York - American Interbanc filed a lawsuit against the personal finance company involving allegations of false advertising and antitrust violations. Bankrate did not admit fault or liability, but did agree to a $3 million cash payment settlement to American Interbanc, which in turn agreed to dismiss the lawsuit.
