Los Angeles - The Recording Industry Association of America filed charges against the company behind popular online file sharing software eDonkey for allegedly violating copyright infringement laws. MetaMachine has agreed to pay $30 million and immediately cease distributing eDonkey, eDonkey 2000, Overnet and other software versions.
