Seattle Seahawks

Texas A&M University filed a lawsuit against the football team for allegedly using a '12th Man' slogan trademarked by the university. The Seahawks acknowledge Texas A&M's ownership rights in the mark and will continue to use the mark under license in connection with the Seahawks' operations, promotions and fan activities in the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a one-time licensing fee of $100,000 as part of the settlement agreement between the two entities. (May-10-06) [BRYAN COLLEGE STATION EAGLE]
