St. George's Hospital

In November 2004, at the age of 35 Andrew Pascall died after his malignant melanoma went undiagnosed after a check-up at the hospital in south London four years earlier. The promising young engineer left behind his wife Sarah and their two young children Thomas and Catriona. Sarah filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against the hospital claiming her husband died as a result of the negligent delay in diagnosing his malignant melanoma. St. George Hospital has agreed to award Sarah 1 million pounds in compensation. (Feb-07-06) [THE HERALD]
