TVM Mesh Leaves Women Very Sick, and Very Angry

Winnipeg, MB Women who experience problems with their TVT sling have comrades-in-arms the world over, it appears. In Canada, our neighbor to the immediate north, several hundred women are filing a transvaginal mesh lawsuit alleging serious complications. Meanwhile, much farther away, Australian women are taking up a similar cause against manufacturers of the problematic product alleged to have impacted women’s lives in terms described as “horrific.”

Canadian Woman Likens Transvaginal Mesh to a Cheese Grater

Winnipeg, MB The story of a Canadian woman who likened her transvaginal mesh to “a cheese grater” has spurred the provincial Minister of Health in Manitoba to push her federal counterpart for action. Christine Asprey, who hails from Winnipeg, is a 49-year-old mother of four who has been in excruciating pain for more than a year.

TVM Mesh Lawsuit to Be Launched in Canada

Winnipeg, MB The western Canadian city of Winnipeg will serve as the backdrop for a transvaginal mesh lawsuit in Canada. The Winnipeg Free Press (2/8/13) reports that court documents are being filed in three Canadian provinces with an eye toward launching a class-action case representing more than 300 Canadian women.

Mexican Mangoes May be Responsible for Salmonella Outbreak
