Possible Star Tribune Advertising Circulation Fraud Class Action

A lawsuit has been filed and is seeking class action status against the newspaper for allegedly inflating its circulation figures in order to charge higher advertising rates. The lawsuit was filed in Hennepin County District Court and claims Star Tribune pressured its distributors to buy excess newspapers that the paper then counted toward its circulation.
