Hewlett-Packard Co.

Thirty four contractors have filed a class action lawsuit against the company alleging they were illegally denied employee benefits. The suit was filed in the US District Court in Boise and could involve as many as 3,000 HP contract workers across the nation. This whistleblower case claims HP is violating the Sarbanes-Oxley Corporate and Criminal Accountability Act, which prohibits retaliation against workers who reveal illegal practices by an employer.
