$33 Million Awarded to Boy Injured by Drunk Driver


This is a settlement for the Personal Injury lawsuit.

A 19-year old boy who was involved in a drunk driving accident and rendered paraplegic has been awarded a $33 million settlement in his lawsuit against the driver.

William Klairmont, the driver of the sedan, was drunk when driving, and smashed the car into a utility pole head-on. His friend, George Baldwin, who was in the passenger seat, suffered paralysis from the chest down, and a head injury that destroyed his pituitary gland, and consequently left him with a permanently elevated body temperature and numerous other health conditions.
