Wal-Mart Settles 63 Federal and State Class Actions for $640 Million
This is a settlement for the Employment lawsuit.
The retail giant Wal-Mart will reportedly pay up to $640 million to settle 63 state class actions it faces over allegedly breaking employment laws by forcing its employees to work through breaks.
The settlement, announced December 23, comes 2 weeks after Wal-Mart agreed a settlement with Minnesota. However, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and California are not on the list of states the Company has settled with.
