Allentown, PA: (May-09-08) The Mendelson Family Trust brought a lawsuit against the city of Allentown, alleging that the Colonial Theater's property was undervalued when it was condemned. Mendelson will use that money to pay the city money owed on liens. Sources said that $23,000 will be paid for the Colonial site; and $27,000 will pay liens on the Americus Hotel building, resolving all litigation pertaining to the blighted properties.
