Commodity Options

Miami, FL: (Feb-24-08) The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission brought commodity options fraud charges against a South Florida company Executive Commodity Corp. of Pompano Beach; and three residents Thomas Kennedy of Tamarac; Don Campbell of Parkland; and Alberto Jimenez of Coral Gables. Sources close to the case stated that the parties had reached a settlement agreement, in which the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission stated that it will receive roughly $24 million in restitution and penalties, resolving the lawsuit. Additionally, the defendants are permanently barred from any commodity related business activity, including commodity trading on behalf of others and soliciting customers to invest in commodity futures and options.
