Bridge Painter

Providence, RI: (Jan-29-08) Wayne Leyden, a New York painter, brought a lawsuit against Aetna Bridge, after he was injured five years ago while working on the Mount Hope Bridge. The suit, which had a personal injury claim, stated that the 40-year-old Port Leyden, NY man fell 55 feet onto concrete while he was in a pocket climber. Sources close to the case stated that as part of a settlement reached, Aetna Bridge has awarded Leyden $5.5 million, resolving the suit. Company spokespersons said that they will request a new trial.
