Dust and Air Pollution

Lake Havasu, AZ: (Nov-26-07) Norma Grzesiowski, a Lake Havasu woman, brought charges against the city, alleging that she suffered serious medical harm from dust and air pollution caused by an ERS Constructors project near her home. Records state that ERS Constructors has done millions of dollars worth of work on the city's wastewater expansion project. Grzesiowski claimed that she sustained permanent injuries from dust and pollution caused by the construction for a wash improvement in 2005 and that she would face continued discomfort, pain and suffering as a result of her injuries. As part of a settlement reached, she received $40,000 in exchange for dropping the lawsuit against the city. City officials stated that it would split the settlement amount with ERS Constructors.
