Wrongful Termination

Campbellsville, KY: (Nov-12-07) Sandra Bailey, a former employee, brought charges against the Campbellsville Water Co., alleging that she was wrongfully terminated. The suit, filed in July 2004 sought compensation for lost wages, emotional distress, and damages. Bailey claimed that she had been working for the Water Co. for more than three years when her employment was terminated in December 2003. She filed suit in the Circuit Court a year later.

As part of a settlement reached, sources confirmed that in March 2006, a jury awarded Sandra Bailey $208,233 in damages. Appeals from both sides followed but were dismissed by the Court of Appeals in September 2006. The settlement was accompanied by a confidentiality agreement. [CKNJ NEWS: WRONGFUL TERMINATION]

I have been off work for almost 1 month on suspension, recently dismissed all based on false testimony and lies from one person, Supervisor. I have been at same agency for over 12 years and only with this Supervisor 2 years. Complained several times on treatment to no avail.
