Miller Brewing Contract
This is a settlement for the Commercial lawsuit.
Bloomfield, CO: (Oct-09-07) Miller Brewing Company brought charges against Ball Corporation's Ball Metal Beverage Container Corp. (BMBCC), alleging that the company breached contract. Ball Corporation supplies high quality metal and plastic packaging products for beverage, food, and household use. It also specializes in such products for aerospace and other technologies and services, primarily for the US government.
As part of a settlement reached, Ball Corporation announced that it would continue to supply Miller's entire beverage can and end requirements through 2015, as Miller is one of the company's largest customers. Additionally, BMBCC will make a one time payment to Miller in January 2008 of approximately $70 million to resolve various business issues between the two.
