M.J.D. Construction Services Inc. and Donald Russo

Palm City, FL: (May-01-07) Cheryl Palmer, widow of 45-year-old Howard Siegel, filed suit against M.J.D. Construction Services Inc., a Palm City construction company, after her husband was killed in an Aug. 14 crash. The suit claimed that the death occurred when co-defendant Donald Russo's truck blew a tire near the intersection of High Meadow Avenue and Golden Bear Way and struck Siegel's Dodge Stratus head-on. Palmer filed the lawsuit, which demanded unspecified damages and a jury trial. In a settlement reached, M.J.D. Construction Services Inc. and Russo agreed to pay Palmer $600,000 to end the accident related wrongful death lawsuit. The proposal was made through paperwork filed in Martin County Court.
