Ken Tapscott

Dallas, TX: (Feb-10-07) Ken Tapscott, presiding over County Court at Law No. 4, was accused by former clients in an asbestos lawsuit of deliberately lying about a lawsuit settlement. The jury claimed Tapscott, representing a case involving wrongful death resulting from asbestos, had told his clients that all the parties had settled. However, one company, Pittsburgh Corning had not settled and therefore shorted the clients $225,000. The court ruled that Tapscott must pay $129,000 to his clients as damages.
