Floor Superstores

Newark - The state of New Jersey filed a lawsuit against the flooring store alleging consumers were misled by false promises and denied refunds when merchandise was not delivered or was installed incorrectly. Samuel Rosenberg, owner of Floor Superstores has agreed to pay $343,000 to settle the lawsuit. Under the terms of the settlement, Rosenberg will also add specific information in invoices regarding delivery dates, issue refunds when requested within 14 days of a consumer's request, not demand a deposit prior to signing a contract, and not charge a fee for removal of defective merchandise.
