Mark de Tournillon Sr.

Roanoke - On August 20, 2005 Lawrence and Judith Lewis were making their way home on Smith Mountain Lake, VA after having dinner with friends. A speedboat, driven by Mark de Tournillon Sr., plowed into the couple's cabin cruiser and killed them instantly. De Tournillon pleaded guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter by intoxication plus a misdemeanor count of operating a watercraft under the influence of alcohol in connection with the Lewis' deaths; he also agreed to a settlement of $2.7 million for the boating accident.
