Tower Tours and Coach USA/Gray Line

Concierges and bellmen filed a price fixing lawsuit against sightseeing companies for illegally agreeing to slash commissions they pay for booking customers. The lawsuit claimed in April 2003 San Francisco's three main touring bus companies announced that they were reducing commissions from $25 and $15 per ticket to $10 for adults and $5 for children. The settlement contains no admission of wrongdoing, but Tower Tours and Coach USA/Gray Line have agreed to a $3.1 million settlement. (Aug-30-06) [SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS]
