Honeywell International Inc.

Honeywell International Inc. allegedly violated the False Claims Act over testing of electrostatic protective metallic sheets that were to package more than 186,000 sensitive parts and that Honeywell knowingly made and sold sheets that did not meet military specifications. Fifteen percent of the settlement, or $393,750 went to Caltex Plastics, of Vernon, Calif., a purchaser of Honeywell sheets, which it would make into bags and other products.
