Berlin Intermediate School

Five former Berlin Intermediate School female teachers filed a lawsuit against the school claiming gender harassment and misconduct by vice principal Darrell Birckett during the 2003-2004 school year. The women claimed Birckett touched them, made suggestive gestures, told offensive jokes and made obscene statements. The Worcester County Board of Education has agreed to pay a $250,000 settlement.
