C. Peter Houtenbos

Zohair Billing was a flight attendant for TWA. On February 22, 1998 en route from New York to Los Angeles Billing asked a first class passenger to turn off his cell phone and keep it off. C. Peter Houtenbos allegedly declined to do so and charged at Billings, put his hands on her shoulders and shoved her into a galley counter, exacerbating a back injury. Billing had to undergo epidural injections and physical therapy. She filed a lawsuit against Houtenbos claiming battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress. Houtenbos has agreed to pay Billing a $750,000 settlement for his air rage assault. (Mar-15-06) [KANSAS CITY STAR]
