The Hells Angels Motorcycle Club filed a lawsuit against the county regarding a 1998 police raid that resulted in three dead dogs, a torn-up sidewalk and little meaningful evidence. On January 21, 1998, 90 officers raided the club's San Jose headquarters and nine homes. Santa Clara County has agreed to award a $990,000 settlement to 15 individuals including eight current or former members of the Hells Angels. (Feb-06-06) [MERCURY NEWS]
