Roman Catholic Diocese of Spokane

A lawsuit was filed against the church alleging abuse by priests. The case was filed by 75 individuals who claim they were harmed by clergy members. The Eastern Washington diocese filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in late 2004. However, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Spokane has offered a $45.7 million settlement. My brother got a settlement from Spokane diocese, but about 1 year after he received it he died from drug abuse which he fought his whole life due to the abuse. He had nothing to leave his daughter and I was wondering if I could sue again for his death.
