French Meadow Bakery

Federal authorities seized nearly 30,000 loaves of bread from the company for allegedly mislabeling them as being wheat free or wheat alternative. The bread products contain spelt or Kamut grains which are types of wheat and could endanger people with wheat allergies and therefore shouldn't be labeled as wheat free or wheat alternative. French Meadow has agreed to re-label the 5,000 cases of bread. (Jan-26-06) [GRAND FORKS HERALD]
