AIMCO

The city of San Francisco filed a lawsuit against the real estate investor over conditions at AIMCO properties at Bayview-Hunters Point. The city claimed AIMCO breached building, health, housing, plumbing, electrical, and fire codes in four subsidized apartment complexes in Bayview-Hunters Point. AIMCO agreed to a $3 million settlement. One million dollars of the settlement will go to help finance the new Boys and Girls Club in Hunters Point to combat violence in the neighborhood.
