Bob Collins

Sharon Hock was a flight attendant and student pilot. On February 8, 2000, she was practicing takeoffs and landings at Waukegan Regional Airport when her plane collided with another plane. Hock was killed in the accident, as were WGN Radio personality Bob Collins and a passenger in his plane. The National Transportation Safety Board has deemed Collins and the air traffic controller responsible for the collision. A $410,000 settlement has been awarded to Hock's family.
