Global Horizons

A lawsuit was filed on behalf of approximately 170 Thai workers brought onto fruit orchards in Eastern Washington against the California based labor contractor. The lawsuit claimed Global violated numerous state and federal labor laws. Global Horizons has agreed to pay the state of Washington a $230,000 settlement and establish new protection for domestic and foreign workers. (Sep-23-05) [SEATTLE TIMES]
