U.S. regulators claimed Chairman Dean Buntrock helped orchestrate accounting fraud at the trash hauling company. The Securities and Exchange Commission alleged Buntrock lead a massive fraud from 1992 to 1997 that cost shareholders $6 billion. Buntrock has to pay the SEC a $2.3 million settlement and forfeit his profits from the fraud adding up to $20 million. (Aug-06-05)
