San Joaquin General Hospital

On December 21, 2002, Andrew Gamboa was taken by ambulance to the hospital with multiple stab wounds. The laceration on his left arm was allegedly neglected for five days and became infected and swollen. Gamboa filed a lawsuit against the county after his arm had to be amputated. He is set to receive a $325,000 medical malpractice settlement for general damages, medical expenses, lost wages, and diminished earning capacity. (Aug-06-05)
