University of Texas Medical Branch

The University allegedly overcharged the Department of Health and Human Services for eye care given to patients on Medicare and Medicaid. The University in Galveston has agreed to pay a $1.7 million settlement to the federal government for their miscalculations. (Jul-11-05) [HERALD DEMOCRAT]
