Diocese of Sacramento and Diocese of Santa Rosa

The two Northern California Catholic dioceses agreed to pay more than $42 million to settle 41 clergy abuse claims. In an out of court settlement, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sacramento agreed to pay $35 million to 33 victims. The Diocese of Santa Rosa has agreed to pay $7.3 million to eight plaintiffs.
