This is a settlement for the Car Accidents (National) lawsuit.
Rufino Lopez Calderon was cruising through an intersection on his motorcycle when struck by a police officer. Detective Daniel Charles Mayreis was driving an unmarked police car and did not see Calderon. In the car accident, Calderon suffered fractures of his left knee and right leg and was awarded a $450,000 settlement for his injuries. (Mar-30-05)
