Tenet Healthcare Corp. $30.75 Settlement

Santa Barbara-based Tenet Healthcare Corp. has reached a settlement worth $30.75 million with the U.S. Department of Justice, as well as some civilian lawsuits. The settlement resolved an inquiry by the Department into the hiring practices of a Tenet-run hospital in Florida, as well as a more generalized scrutiny of the company itself.
