M & T Pretzel Inc.

Dozens of pretzel vendors in New York, most of who are immigrants from Bangladesh, are now being paid overtime and back wages. Under the terms of the settlement M & T Pretzel Inc, which owns the pretzel pushcart empire, has agreed to pay $450,000 to employees for labor law violations.

"The employees, mostly immigrants from Bangladesh, worked long shifts without receiving overtime pay and, in some cases, without receiving the minimum wage," a press release from Spitzer's office, said. [PRESS RELEASE]
