City of New York domestic violence Settlement

A settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed on behalf of victims of domestic violence. Under the settlement, the city has conceded that children can not be placed in foster care solely because their mothers had been abused. (Dec-18-04) [NEW YORK TIMES]
