Dynacraft BSC Inc.

This bicycle company has agreed to pay a $1.4 million civil penalty to settle claims that it failed to report safety problems on mountain bikes sold nationally. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission alleged that Dynacraft BSC Inc., of San Rafael, Calif., failed on multiple occasions to tell the government about serious defects in its bikes, which were sold at Target and Wal-Mart stores around the country.
